The hoop falls in two straight lines and turns through a soft curve at the base, which gives it a longer, cleaner line down from the lobe than a round hoop of the same size. It is a small change of shape that makes a noticeable difference on the ear.

The band is smooth and evenly rounded the whole way round, with no edges or joins to press against the skin. The hinge is built into the flat top bar, so it clicks shut in one movement and stays hidden while you wear it. There is no separate back to lose, which makes these easy to put in quickly and easy to keep in.

Made from a brass core and finished in 18K gold plating at 3 microns, the plating gives the band its deep, champagne gold colour and a finish built to stand up to daily wear. Hypoallergenic and gentle against sensitive skin.

The polish is what you notice from across a room. A single long highlight runs the length of each side and shifts as you turn your head, so the shape stays visible without needing size to do it.
