Our story
Our name was inspired by a Swiss watch found years ago in the lost and found of a jewellery store in Dublin’s City Centre. When the shop closed back in the 1980’s, the watch was kept and all these years later, we decided to create Burren Jewellery.
The tie between the name of this watch and the beautiful, rugged landscape along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way comes together in our collections. We draw inspiration from the stunning scenery in this part of the world which is uniquely Irish, raw and unusual as well as our original ‘Buren’ watch which ties us to our home near Dublin.

My daughter was delighted with this ring. Although shipping was delayed to Australia, the quality of the ring made up for it being a late Christmas present.
My mum fell in love with a Burren ring that she had seen in a shop in Galway but unfortunately it wasn’t the right size and it was the last one! I contacted Burren directly to see if they had one in stock not even knowing the name of it! All the team especially Alison went above and beyond to help me find the right ring in the right size through multiple emails and calls! Thanks to the Burren team I was able to surprise my mum with it on Christmas morning. The ring ‘ Starry Night’ is absolutely stunning, I’m kind of raging I hadn’t spotted it first! Thank you so much for your outstanding customer service and efforts.
This is the latest ring I got to add to my collection. Afraid to say how many I have, in case my husband reads this. Beautiful ring but those of us who shop with Burren Jewellery know that their wares are absolutely fantastic. Nothing is left to chance and the after service is excellent. Almost like going shopping with an old friend. Many thanks and am already looking for my next buy.
I ordered the together far apart ring for my wife, which she loves. It came super fast as promised, There was meant to be a complimentary pair of hoops earrings that came with my order, that unfortunately they forgot to pack with the order. When I contacted them they were so helpful with brilliant customer service, and had the earrings posted out, which I received the next day. My wife absolutely loves these. So all in all a great experience dealing with Burren. Will definitely be buying more in the future.
